		<description><![CDATA[Can you please tell me anything about the source of the color picture of the fair used on this page. I am researching the construction of a large stone monolith that was quarried in northern Wisconsin by Frederick Prentice and intended to be sent to Chicago for the fair. The stone obelisk was 110 feet tall and was successfully quarried but never reached the fair because of financial issues related to shipping it. Might this picture be an architect&#039;s concept of what the monolith would have looked like in place? I have not seen the obelisk that appears in the left foreground of this picture in any of the photographs of the fair that I have found.]]></description>
